Managing Director
Akinbamiji is a seasoned professional with a strong background and rich experience in finance, leadership, and strategic management.
Akinbamiji has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the financial sector. He is dedicated to advancing financial inclusion and empowering communities through sustainable banking practices.
Akinbamiji brings on board 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on microfinance and inclusive banking. Prior to joining Cedrus Africa SME, he was the Managing Director at Imowo Microfinance Bank until February 2024, while with Imowo, he led the bank’s efforts to increase the customer base to over 100%, increase revenue by 500%, and reduce non-performing loans from 27% to 6% within three years. He also served meritoriously in reputable financial institutions such as Standard Trust Bank, United Bank for Africa Plc, Intercontinental Bank, Stanbic IBTC, etc. As a Branch manager at Advans La Fayette Microfinance Bank, he played a pivotal role in expanding market reach, developing innovative products, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Akinbamiji is known for his visionary leadership and strategic acumen; he leads by example and fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence within the organization. He is adept at building high-performing teams, setting clear goals, and inspiring teams to achieve their full potential.
He holds an HND in Estate Management from Osun State College of Technology, a master’s degree in business administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) and an Associate Member Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB). He has attended several top management trainings programs.

Olusayo has a distinguished career in the financial sector, with solid experience in credit analysis and sales management. Prior to joining our team, she held key leadership positions in leading financial institutions, where she spearheaded successful initiatives to drive revenue growth, mitigate sales risk, and enhance customer relationships.
In her role as Head of Credit and Sales, Olusayo is responsible for overseeing the credit assessment process, developing sales strategies, and leading a high-performing team to achieve targets. She works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment towards our organizational goals.
Olusayo holds an HND in Purchasing and Supply from the Polytechnic Ibadan. She is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) and an Associate Member of the of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Oladimeji brings a diverse skill set encompassing operations management, process improvement, and team leadership as the Head of Operations. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering results, he is committed to enhancing operational effectiveness and driving organizational success.
In his role, Oladimeji is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, optimizing processes for efficiency, and ensuring seamless coordination between different departments. Oladimeji leads our operations team with expertise, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
Oladimeji has a solid background in operations management, having held key leadership positions. He has successfully led cross-functional teams, implemented best practices, and streamlined operations to achieve cost savings and improve overall performance. His dynamic, innovative, and transformative mindset was instrumental in starting Advans La Fayette MFB 11 (eleven) years ago, where he served as an operation assistant, head of customer service, and later as head of banking operations for the bank.
Oladimeji holds a first degree from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He is a certified microfinance banker (MCIB) and an Associate Member of the of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB).

As the Chief Risk Officer, Peter comes on board with a wealth of experience in risk assessment, compliance, and strategic decision-making. He has a track record of implementing effective risk management frameworks, and he is dedicated to ensuring that our organization operates within acceptable risk parameters while pursuing growth opportunities.
He has an excellent career in risk management, having held key leadership positions in reputable financial institutions. He has successfully navigated complex regulatory environments, developed robust risk mitigation strategies, and built strong relationships with stakeholders to drive a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
In his role as Chief Risk Officer, Peter is responsible for overseeing the organization’s risk management function, including identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across all business units. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement, Obadare is dedicated to fostering a strong risk culture that enables our organization to navigate challenges effectively and seize opportunities with confidence. He envisions a future where risk management is not just a function but an integral part of our strategic decision-making process. He collaborates closely with senior management to develop risk appetite frameworks, implement risk controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the prestigious University of Ibadan. He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) and an associate member of the Risk Management Association of Nigeria (Riman). He has attended several top management trainings on risk, internal control, compliance, and cybersecurity, to mention a few.
