Michael is a seasoned Asset Management professional with over 19 years of experience across Investment Banking, Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Business Intelligence, and Business Development. Known for his strategic insight, strong leadership, and results-oriented approach, he has consistently driven business growth and delivered sustainable value within the financial services industry.

Before joining Cedrus Group Africa, Michael served as the Northern Region Deputy Regional Director at United Capital Plc, where he coordinated Asset Management and Securities business activities across the region. In this role, he played a key part in driving the cross-selling of investment banking products within the Debt Capital Market space, significantly contributing to client acquisition and business expansion. His appointment to this leadership position reflects his exceptional performance, visionary leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Michael holds an OND in Business Management from Lagos State Polytechnic, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School, where he completed the Senior Management Programme (SMP). Further demonstrating his commitment to executive leadership and professional excellence, he completed the Advanced Strategy Program (ASP) at Chicago Booth Executive Education.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (MCIoD), the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), and the Chartered Institute of Investment Advisers, reflecting his dedication to corporate governance, strategic leadership, and continuous professional development.
